Shipping Dry goods

Carrier :

Québec Cichlidés uses Postes Canada as a carrier. If you are not available to receive your package and that it cannot be placed in a secure location, the carrier company will leave you a delivery notice indicating how to get your order.

Availability :

All online orders are shipped from our store; all products that we have in stock are shipped in our normal delays. The items that we do not keep in stock can be ordred and will be shipped with a delay of one to three weeks. When a supplier informs us that an article is no longer available, we will contact our clients by email with this information.

Expedition and delays

Items are shipped to the address chosen by the consumer on the order sheet. Orders are treated in a delay of one to two days and are shipped out in a delay of two to three opening days.
Québec Cichlidés will not be held responsible for any shipping delays that can occur due to bad weather conditions or bad road conditions. All delays given on this site are estimations and not guaranteed. Please note that we will do everything in our possible to offer you the best online shopping experience and take pride in our customer service.
Shipping is not available for exceptional products that are available on the website. This applies to aquariums, cabinets, lighting ramps of 48” and up, chillers and frozen foods. These products can be ordered online but the only available shipping option is for a store pick up.

If you wish to add dry goods to your livestock order, you cannot do so using the website tools. Please contact us if you with to place such an order.


General conditions

This return policy is only applicable to dry goods. Please note that we do not accept any returns on livestock. Before returning any item, contact us with your request in order to receive our authorization.
All items returned without the authorisation of Québec Cichlidés will be refused.
All returns or exchanges must be made within 7 days of the reception of the product.
The products must be returned in new condition and in their original packaging, unopened.
All returns must be accompanied by a receipt.

No refunds, exchange or store credit only.
No refunds on gift certificates.

We at Québec Cichlidés reserve the right to charge a non-refundable supplement of 15% to cover restocking fees on returned merchandise.
The cancellation of an order can be submitted to a 15% restocking fee.

In the event that your order is damaged by the carrier, a claim will be filed with the carrier company. Upon approval of the claim by the carrier, your original order will be re-shipped to you


Guarantee on dry goods

The replacement policy is supported by the manufacturer
In case of defect, it's the client's responsibility to contact the manufacturer and they will be replaced by the manufacturer following their own replacement policies.

Shipping costs for returns and exchanges

The transportation fees for returns and exchanges must be paid by the consumer.
Shipping fees are non-refundable.

Guarantee on livestock

There is no Guarantee on livestock.
Despite this, we assure you that the acclimation is complete and that the appropriate measures of health have been taken. We only sell fish that are in perfect health.

We are a highly specialized company therefore we can Guarantee the the fish you have bought are not only of the highest quality but also have been taken care of by our experts who feed them the appropriate food and offer the appropriate water parameters for every biotope. During your visit, our expertise is at your disposal to help you in your aquarium projects.

We are not responsible of guessing your level of knowledge in fish keeping. The clients responsibility is to inform themselves on the procedures for accimatation, regular maintenance as well as finding information regarding their biotope.
